Fresh Pumpkin

1 small pie pumpkin
10 to 12 apples, sliced
1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
1 cup of brown sugar
1 heaping cup of raisins
Walnuts
Molasses
Cut the top of the pumpkin and remove the seeds. Rub molasses inside on
the pumpkin walls. Mix sugar with spice and sprinkle on the molasses
coating. Layer the pumpkin with apples, raisins, nuts, apples, raisins,
and nuts, alternately with sugar and spice mix until the pumpkin is full.
Replace the pumpkin top. Wrap in foil.
Bake at 350
degrees for 2 hours or until the pumpkin is soft.
Makes a great centerpiece.
