Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl, then pour in the
melted butter, vanilla and the egg. |

Using a large spoon, mix until you have a sticky mass of cookie
dough. |

Roll into balls between one and one and a half inches around. |

Bake in a 375 F oven for 10 minutes on a greased baking sheet. |

The cookies should be a bit soft when you take them out of the oven
but they will harden if you let them cool on the sheet for about
five minutes before removing them to a wire tray. |

Store in an airtight container or freeze. |
