Page 3 "Special Delivery" was made especially for Savannah Jean Johnson With love from Mommy and Daddy December 25, 2000 Page 4 On a very special day, in a very special place, a very special thing happened in the lives of Denise and Michael. Do you know what it was? A very special little girl named Savannah Jean Johnson was born. Everyone at Marion General Hospital was very excited. The whole town of Marion couldn't wait to see the new arrival. Pages 5 and 6 - illustration pages. Page 7 Topper Turtle gathered everyone together to declare April 1, 2000 to be a very special birthday for Savannah. A birthday that should be celebrated on the same date every year! Page 8 Stilty Stork assisted Dr.
Dixon in delivering Savannah Pages 9 and 10 Page 11 Squeaky Squirrel and Bouncer the Bunny weighed and measured little Savannah who was 7 pounds, 8 ounces and 17 1/2 inches long at birth. Page 12 Mommy and Daddy were very proud because everyone said that Savannah was the cutest baby in the whole world. Pages 13 and 14 - illustration pages. Page 15 Mommy and Daddy wanted to have a baby exactly like Savannah. Their very special delivery had made this one of the happiest days of their lives. In fact, Savannah seemed to make everyone smile. Even gruff old Grumbly Gopher had to chuckle when Savannah made cute little baby noises. Page 16 Soon the news of the birth of Savannah spread far and wide. It seemed everyone in Marion heard about Savannah's arrival. When Mrs. Church Mouse heard the news, she got so excited hat she fell off her chair and spilled her tea! Pages 17 & 18 - illustration pages. Page 19 Everyone had been anxiously awaiting the birth of Savannah. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy came to see her and share in the excitement. Everyone was amazed at everything Savannah did. Page 20 Grandma and Grandpa Johnson, Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy smiled and laughed when Savannah showed how she could actually hold on to a big person's finger. She even grabbed Dr. Dixon's pencil. They bundled up Savannah for her first trip into the outside world. Page 24 Everything was new for Savannah. She got to see houses and trees for the very first time. There was her crib filled with cute, fluffy toys. And there were many other toys that filled the room. Page 28 Mommy enjoyed holding Savannah and cuddling her.
